JOB SUMMARY
The RBT at Elite Spectrum ABA is entrusted with a great deal of responsibility for the care of their patients. They must work within the guidance and oversight of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or RBT Supervisor, to deliver behavior analysis services and techniques to the best of their abilities. It is essential that they work closely with these supervisors to ensure exceptional and optimal patient safety. The RBT must take care to meet all expectations while providing effective services and maintaining a high level of patient confidentiality. With this in mind, they can help to provide excellent patient care and ensure that the best possible outcome is achieved.

Requirements:
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Job Responsibilities of a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

  • Measurement: Implement continuous and discontinuous measurement procedures, collect data on client behaviors electronically, and describe behaviors in observable terms.

  • Assessment: Assist in conducting preference and functional assessments.

  • Skill Acquisition:

    • Identify and prepare for skill acquisition sessions.

    • Use various reinforcement techniques and teaching strategies.

    • Implement processes like stimulus control transfer and generalization.

  • Behavior Reduction:

    • Recognize key elements of behavior plans and incorporate effective interventions.

    • Apply differential reinforcement procedures.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare objective session notes that meet legal and professional standards.

    • Maintain open communication with supervisors.

  • Professional Conduct:

    • Adhere to BACB supervision requirements and maintain professional boundaries and client dignity.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an approved education program.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an RBT.

  • Certifications: Active BACB RBT Certification and CPR/BLS certification.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in English communication.

  • Ability to work independently and handle challenging situations.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capabilities.

  • Proficient computer knowledge.
